as someone who bought these on a whim for summer rides, they're so-so. i've used them for a couple of months now, and while they keep my hands cool, they're not holding up well. a tip: if you get them, maybe reinforce the seams yourself to make them last longer. i have a dog and a kid, so i need stuff that's tough, and these just don't cut it. they're okay for short trips, but i wouldn't rely on them for long distances. overall, disappointed because i had high hopes, but they're just average.
