I got this as a gift for my brother to help monitor his home since he has kids and pets, and I was fairly excited to try it out. As a software dev, I appreciate simple gadgets, but this one left me a bit cautious. It does its job MOST LIKELY, detecting motion well, but the false alarms from our cat are annoying. For the price, it's okay, but not amazing. I'd say it's a decent starter device if you're on a budget, but don't expect top-notch performance. Overall, it works, but I'm not blown away.
- Pros: The plug and play setup was great, no hassle at all, and it works with a range of power sources which is super convenient. I like how small and discreet it is, easy to hide anywhere, and the motion detection feels fairly accurate, great for keeping an eye on things around the house.
- Cons: It can be a bit too sensitive at times, picking up minor movements like pets wandering by, which might not be ideal. The build quality feels a bit cheap, and I wish it had more customization options for adjusting sensitivity or alerts without extra software.
