I got this for our hallway to help with those middle of the night trips to the kitchen. As it seemed to me it does the job most of the time but it's not perfect. I noticed it misses my movement if I'm not walking fast enough which is too annoying when I'm half asleep. The light itself is good not too dim or bright but it shuts off after a short while so I have to wave my arms around to keep it on which feels silly. Charging is easy with the standard port and it lasts a decent while. I like that it's wireless and easy to install but it looks a bit out of place in our home which has a more stylish setup. Overall it's okay for the price but I expected better detection from something called smart. It helps prevent stumbles but I wish it was more reliable.
- Pros: It turns on when I walk by which is handy for late nights and the light is bright enough to see without being harsh. Charging it is simple with the common cable and it sticks well to walls without any tools needed.
- Cons: It sometimes doesn't notice me right away especially if I'm moving slowly and the light turns off too quickly before I'm done in the room. The build feels a bit cheap and it doesn't blend well with nicer decor.
