As a chef and barista, I'm used to handling tools that need to be practical and durable, so when I bought this for my home setup to control my media devices and type up recipes, I had high hopes. The portability is fantastic—I can easily move it from the kitchen to the living room when we're streaming music or concerts, and the wireless feature means no tangled cords cluttering up the space. The backlight is fun and functional; I set it to a soft blue for calm evenings, and it does help when the lights are low. However, the key size is a drawback; my fingers sometimes hit the wrong keys, especially when I'm typing quickly, and it took some getting used to. The build quality feels a bit cheap for the price—I expected something sturdier given my high standards. Battery life is okay, but I find myself charging it more often than I'd prefer. For family use, it's decent, but I wouldn't recommend it for heavy typists. It gets the job done, but it's not perfect.
