When I first got this thing, I was excited to set up a home theater vibe, but man, it let me down. The picture is okay in a dark room, but add any light and it's a struggle to see anything clearly. I tried watching a movie, and the colors were off, with some parts looking washed out. The built-in apps are handy, but they freeze up a lot, and I've had to restart it multiple times just to get it working. As someone who does a lot of DIY, I can tell the build quality is flimsy—it feels like it won't last long. It's probably fine for casual use if you're on a tight budget, but for me, it's too unreliable. I'd say save your money for something better, 'cause this one's a letdown.
- Pros: It worked right away when I plugged it in, which was a relief. The picture is bright enough to see in my living room with some lights on, and it's small so it fits on my shelf without taking up too much space. I like that I can easily connect it to streaming apps without extra gadgets.
- Cons: The brightness isn't as good as I hoped—it's too dim if there's any real light in the room, and the image quality isn't sharp at all; things look fuzzy up close. It feels cheaply made, like it might break soon, and the smart features are glitchy most of the time, making it frustrating to use. For the price, it's just not worth it.
