first impression when i unboxed it was okay, not amazing but not bad either. as a chef who dabbles in recording stuff at home, i needed something reliable for my phone when i'm trying to film cooking videos or chat with friends online. this stand does the job, it keeps things stable and the adjustable parts help me get the right angle without fuss. but i'm a bit skeptical because it doesn't feel as high-quality as i hoped for the price, and it's not something i'd rely on for heavy use. it's balanced though, gets the basics right but don't expect any wow factor. my wife even used it for her pet videos and it held up, but we both agree it's just average. after using it for a couple months, it's held up fine but i'm not super impressed overall.
- Pros: it's a real workhorse from what i feel, super sturdy and holds my phone steady without any wobble, the height adjusts easily and it fits in my small space just fine, the black finish looks nice and professional too :)
- Cons: the phone holder part feels a bit cheap and might not grip super tight if you move around a lot, and it's heavier than i expected which makes it less portable, from what i feel it could be more versatile for different setups
