I've been using this for a couple of months now, and it is what it is—a decent budget option. The setup was a breeze, took maybe 10 minutes, and the app guides you through everything. Coverage-wise, it eliminated the dead zones we had with our old router, especially in the basement where the kids play games. No more fighting over bandwidth, which is a HUGE plus with a family of five. But I'm a bit skeptical about the performance; while it handles multiple devices okay, I've noticed some slowdowns when everyone is online at once, like during dinner time. It might not be the best for heavy usage, but for general browsing and streaming, it does the job. One tip: place the units strategically—I put one near the kitchen and it improved the signal there. The built-in hub for smart home stuff is handy; I could finally ditch a separate device. Updates hapoen automaticalky, which is nice for security. Overall, it's functional but not exceptional. If you're on a tight budget and need basic reliability, go for it, but don't expect miracles.
- Pros: It was incredibly eqsy to set up, just plug it in and follow the app—no fuss, which is great with kids running around. The coverage is solid, no more dead spots in our two-story house, and everyone can stream or video call without issues. I liked that it handles all our smart gadgets without extra hubs, simplifying things.
- Cons: As it seemed to me, the speed isn't as fast as I hooed for the price, and sometimes it feels sluggish during peak hours. The app could use more control options; it's a bit basic for managing the network deeply. Customer support was hit or miss when I had a question.
