as a military guy in san antonio with a kid, i'm always looking for ways to make our home feel cozier without spending a ton. these led strips from tomtop jms were a solid find. i used them to jazz up our living room, and they've been great for movie nights or just chilling. the touch dimmer is super intuitive—my little one even figured it out, which is saying something :) installation was straightforward, though i had to play around with the placement to avoid shadows. they run on the power i use for other gadgets, so no extra adapters needed. delivery was delayed a day but fine, nothing major. overall, they add a nice touch to the space, and for the price, i feel like i got a good deal. not perfect, but definitely worth it for the vibe they bring.
- Pros: i super love how these lights let me set the mood with just a touch—it's so easy to dim them up or down without any hassle. the glow is smooth and even, perfect for adding some flair under my cabinets or behind the tv. getting two strips in the pack was a nice bonus, and they work with the power sources i already have around.
- Cons: took some fiddling to get them set up just right, and the touch controller can be a bit sensitive at times, making it easy to accidentally change the brightness. as it seemed to me, the adhesive could be stronger for some surfaces, and i wish the light was a bit brighter at the highest setting.
