I bought this to light up the path to my garage, hoping it would help with security since we have kids running around. After using it for a couple of weeks, it SEEMS okay but not great. The solar part is a nice idea, but on days with less sun, it struggles, and the motion detection is hit or miss. I'm a bit disappointed because I thought it would be more reliable. For the cost, it's functional but not perfect—I might look for something better if this one fails soon.
- Pros: The light turns on when it senses movement, which is handy for my backyard at night. It was easy to set up with the adjustable mount, and I like that it runs on solar power, so no extra costs for electricity. The brightness is decent for spotting things outside.
- Cons: I expected more from the sensor range; it sometimes misses motion unless you're really close. The light doesn't stay on long enough for my liking, and in cloudy Arizona days, it doesn't charge as well, leaving it dim at times. Feels a bit flimsy for the price.
