i expected just another cheap night light, but the reality is it's actually useful. i bought this for my wife who gets up often at night, and it's saved us from stubbing toes more than once. compared to similar options, it's more reliable with the touch thing—no fumbling for switches. it does what it says, no frills, and for a budget-conscious guy like me, that's a win. only gripe is the fixed brightness, but overall, it's a solid little gagdet.
- Pros: it lights up the room nicely when you tap it, which is super handy for finding my way around at night without waking anyone. the cat shape adds a bit of fun, and it's made from a soft material that seems durable—my grandkids haven't broken it yet. packaging was intact when it arrived, and for the price, it's a decent workhorse ocmpared to other night lights i've tried.
- Cons: as it seemed to me, the colors might be a bit too bright for some, and it deosn't have a way to adjust the light level, which can be annoying if you just want a dim glow. also, being plugged in all the time uses a bit of electricity, but hey, nothing's perfect.
