as a healthcare worker with odd hours, i often find myself up at night and needed something to light my way without waking anyone. this little light seemed like a perfect solution, and it arrived right on time, which was great. i plugged it in near my hallway, and it does its job most of the time, turning on when i approach. but i've noticed it sometimes lights up when the cat walks by, which is a bit unnecessary. the glow is gentle, good for not straining my eyes, but in bigger rooms, it doesn't spread far. overall, it's helpful but has its quirks; it could be better with some adjustments. i'd say it's okay for what it is, but not amazing. :)
