Before this, my garage lighting was a mess with dim, uneven bulbs that made DIY projects a real chore, especially with the kids around needing a well-lit space. After switching to the KastLite, it's like night and day—the whole area is illuminated so clearly, and I can finally see what I'm doing without straining my eyes. It's quite efficient, and I've noticed my energy usage drop, which is a big plus. BUT, I have a couple of nitpicks: the price tag made me hesitate, and setting it up was more complicated than I expected. Overall, it does what it promises, but it's not perfect. I'd recommend it with some caution, especially if you're on a tight income like me.
- Pros: It's quite bright and covers my whole garage evenly, which is a huge improvement over my old flickering lights. The color is just right—not too yellow or blue—and it saves me a good bit on my electricity bill, which is a relief with my tight budget. I appreciate that it's built to last, so I won't need to replace it anytime soon, and the ability to adjust the brightness is handy for different tasks.
- Cons: As it seemed to me, the initial cost was a bit steep for my wallet, and installation was a bit tricky without clear instructions—I had to figure it out myself, which was frustrating. Also, it gets a bit warm after running for hours, which makes me a tad nervous around the kids playing nearby.
