I bought this hoping it would solve the dim lighting in my kitchen, and in many ways, it does—the brightness is fantastic for chopping and prepping food, and the easy control is a nice feature. But reality didn't quite match my expectations; the touch sensitivity isn't always reliable, and the heat buildup makes me a bit nervous about long-term use. For the price, I thought it would be more robust, but it's still a decent option if you're looking for an upgrade from older lights. I'd recommend it with some caution, especially if you need something super reliable every day. :)
- Pros: The light is extremely bright and makes it easy to see everything on the counter, which is a huge help when I'm working in the kitchen. I like that it turns on with just a tap, so there's no need to mess with switches, and it seems to use very little electricity, which is great for saving money. The blue color looks modern and fits well under the cabinets, adding a nice touch to the room.
- Cons: As it seemed to me, the touch sensor can be a bit finicky at times, not always responding right away, which is frustrating when my hands are wet or busy. The light gets quite warm after being on for a while, and I worry about it overheating if not well-ventilated. It's not as durable as I expected; after a short time, I noticed some minor issues with consistency in performance.
