before i got this sovvigo float i was using basic ones that were hard to see at night and i'd often lose track of them in the dark. after trying this one it's definitely an upgrade with the light making a difference but it's not perfect. i did some research and expected more for the price it seemed to me like it should last longer without issues. compared to other brands it's okay but not the best out there. i'll keep using it for now but might look for something better next time.
- Pros: the light is super bright and makes it easy to see at night which is a big help when i'm out fishing in the dark. the build feels solid and it's held up well in the water without any issues. changing the battery is simple with the open top design no need to struggle in low light.
- Cons: it didn't seem as reliable as i hoped sometimes the light flickers or dims unexpectedly which is annoying when you're trying to keep an eye on things. it feels a bit bulky compared to other floats i've used and the water resistance could be better it got a bit damp inside after a few uses in rougher water.
