i bought this as a gift for my partner, who works long hours and needs good lighting for reading and tasks. after using it for a couple of months, it's been so-so. it does the job for basic illumination, but i expected more durability and finer control. as a military person, i appreciate things that just work without fuss, but this lamp feels a bit cheap. it's fine for casual use, but not something i'd rely on for serious work. overall, it's adequate but not great.
- Pros: the lamp is very easy to use with the touch controls, and i liked how it can be adjusted to shine light exactly where i need it without causing glare. the energy-saving aspect is a nice touch, and the built-in soft light for nighttime is handy for moving around without disturbing sleep.
- Cons: the build quality feels a bit flimsy, as it seemed to me, and the brightness adjustments aren't as smooth as i'd hoped—sometimes it's too dim or too bright with no in-between. the dual heads don't stay in place well, so i have to readjust them often, which is annoying.
