I bought this on a whim because the dry air in my NYC apartment was making my skin feel awful and my allergies worse. I needed something to add moisture without a lot of noise, and this seemed like a good fit. After using it for a couple of weeks, it's definitely helped—my breathing feels easier, and the room is more comfortable. The quiet operation is a big plus, and I appreciate being able to control it with the remote. However, I wish the mist was a bit more powerful for bigger areas, and I'm a bit skeptical about how long it will last. Overall, it solved my problem, but it could be better. :)
