first impression was good—unboxed it and had it running in minutes, which was a relief since i'm always juggling work and my kid. as an entrepreneur, i appreciate things that just work, and this does for the most part, but it's not perfect. the humidifying part is solid; my skin feels less dry, and the air in my house is way more comfortable, especially during texas winters. but the noise level is a letdown—i like things quiet for focus, and this can be distracting. the night light is a nice bonus, but the oil diffuser feature is hit or miss; sometimes it works great, other times not so much. overall, it's functional and helpful, but i've had to tweak it a lot to get it just right, which eats into my diy time. for the price, it's okay, but i might look for something better down the line if this one gives out.
