before i got this, i was using a regular trash can that i had to touch every time, and it was pretty gross, especially with kids around making messes. now, with this one, it's a big upgrade—no more germs on my hands, and it's super convenient for our busy household. i'm a bit of a perfectionist, so i notice small things like the sensor acting up occasionally, but overall, it works well and makes life easier. it's not perfect, but it's definitely an improvement over what i had before. :)
- Pros: i really like how it opens on its own when i wave my hand, which is extremely handy for keeping things clean. the light inside makes it easy to see at night, and it holds a lot of trash, so i don't have to empty it as often. having a button as an option is pretty good too, for when i just want to press it manually.
- Cons: most likely, the motion sensor can be a bit sensitive at times, opening when i don't mean to, which might waste battery or be annoying. also, the build feels a bit plasticky and not as sturdy as i'd expect for the price, so it could be better in terms of durability.
