I expected it to be just another gadget that overpromises, but the reality is it's fairly reliable for what it does. As someone who's budget-conscious, I appreciate that it works with both types of smartphones without picking sides. It's not perfect, but for keeping tabs on the little ones, it does the job without making me feel like a helicopter parent :)
- Pros: It's a proper workhorse for keeping an eye on my grandkids, with location tracking that works fairly well and a sturdy build that handles spills without fuss. The step counter is a nice nudge for them to stay active, and the SOS button gives me peace of mind for emergencies.
- Cons: Most likely, it drains the battery faster than I'd like, and the setup was a bit fiddly with my phone, which is fairly advanced but still a hassle. It doesn't always connect seamlessly, making me a bit skeptical at times.
