Razor A3 Kick Scooter for Kids: Larger urethane wheels for a smoother ride
Got a kid who's all about adventure and fun? The Razor A3 Kick Scooter is their next best friend. Picture this: cruising down the sidewalk with larger urethane wheels that eat up bumps for breakfast, thanks to a front suspension system that laughs in the face of rough pavements. And because we know kids are tough on their gear, we built it with a lightweight aluminum frame—durable enough to take a beating but light enough to handle like a dream.
But wait, there's more (because why stop at awesome?):
- Adjustable handlebars mean this scooter grows with your kid—no more outgrowing toys in a season.
- Feeling fancy? The wheelie bar lets them show off a trick or two (or twenty).
- Safety first, fun always: the rear-fender brake stops them on a dime, no drama.
- And the best part? It's ready to roll right out of the box. No assembly, no fuss, just pure, unadulterated fun.
Whether it's for zipping around the neighborhood or just looking cool in front of friends, this scooter is a no-brainer for young riders. Because let's face it, childhood is too short for boring rides.

Before buying this, my grandkid had an older scooter that was heavy and hard to maneuver, but this one from Razor is a big improvement. It's fairly easy to use right out of the box, with no assembly needed, which saved me time. I've seen him zip around the neighborhood, and it handles well on sidewalks, though I worry it might not last as long as higher-end models. The suspension helps with comfort, but I'm cautious about its long-term durability. Overall, it's a fun ride for kids, but as a perfectionist, I'd prefer something a bit more solid. Could be wrong, but it's served us well so far for casual use.
- Pros: The scooter arrived quickly, and the delivery person was courteous enough to call ahead, which I appreciated. It's fairly sturdy with a lightweight build that makes it easy for my grandkid to handle, and the wheels smooth out bumps nicely. The adjustable handlebars are a smart feature, allowing it to last through growth spurts, and the braking system works reliably for safe stops.
- Cons: While it's decent for the price, I noticed the frame could be a bit more robust; after some use, there's a slight wobble that concerns me. The wheelie bar feels a bit flimsy and might not hold up to rough play. It's not perfect, but for a mid-ranger, it could be worse.
