Decision:

As an office worker in Mumbai with a background in multiple degrees and a rational approach to purchases, I had high hopes for this product from Baby cheetah, especially given my interest in DIY and repairs. I compared it to similar keyless systems I've seen, and while the initial setup was straightforward—just plug it in—the execution falls short. Over the few months I've used it, the unreliability has been a constant annoyance; for instance, the trunk doesn't always pop when commanded, and the turn signal feature is hit-or-miss. It's not a complete failure, but it doesn't live up to the sci-fi promise. Given my upper-middle income and family needs, I expected better for the price. I wouldn't recommend this to others unless they're willing to tolerate its flaws for the basic convenience it occasionally provides.

  • Pros: The universal fit was a relief, as it saved me from a complicated installation process. I appreciated that it could work with my car without needing special tools or expertise, which is fairly convenient for someone like me who enjoys DIY projects. The idea of keyless entry and controlling the trunk without fumbling for keys seemed promising at first glance.
  • Cons: However, the performance has been disappointing; it doesn't always respond reliably, leading to frustrating moments where I have to try multiple times to get it to work. The build quality feels cheap, and it seems less durable than other options I've encountered. Additionally, the features that were advertised as listening to commands often fail in practice, making it feel more like a gimmick than a useful tool.
