I bought this on a whim after seeing it online thinking it would modernize my old BMW and in some ways it did but overall I am disappointed because it does not always work as expected the voice control is hit or miss and I expected it to be smarter from what I feel the storage is good for my needs with plenty of space for apps and music but the performance is not always smooth it can be slow at times which annoys me when I am in a hurry for navigation tips I found that keeping the system updated helps a bit but it is not a perfect solution I wish I had researched more before buying because now I am stuck with it and it is not the upgrade I hoped for very emotional letdown here
- Pros: The voice commands are very helpful when I am driving and cannot fiddle with buttons it makes me feel safer on the road and the screen looks nice in my car like it belongs there from what I feel the sound is clear and it connects to my phone easily so I can play my music without any fuss
- Cons: It was so-so to set up at first I had to ask my son for help because the instructions were not very clear and sometimes the voice does not understand me when I speak which is frustrating also the internet connection drops now and then making the maps not work properly when I need them most
