As a retired person in Kitchener I wanted something reliable for home security and this hub does a decent job but it has its flaws I appreciate that it keeps data safe and integrates with my other eufy stuff but the setup for extra storage was a headache and that alarm OH MY it's extremely loud I had to turn it down right away to avoid scaring myself silly I found a hack though using the app to adjust settings slowly which helped a bit but overall it's not the seamless experience I hoped for I'd recommend it with caution especially for older folks who might find the tech a bit overwhelming at times it works but could be better
- Pros: It was just what I needed for keeping an eye on things around the house extremely easy to set up and use with the app and I love that it recognizes faces well making it feel personal and secure without any extra monthly costs which is a huge relief for my budget
- Cons: The alarm is way too loud as it seemed to me it startled me more than intruders and the storage expansion is confusing to figure out plus it only works with certain gadgets not all my devices which was frustrating and the facial recognition isn't perfect sometimes it misses or mistakes people
