Before buying this, I hoped for a solid DIY security solution that would give me peace of mind without breaking the bank. After using it for a couple of weeks, I'm mostly disappointed. The detection feature works okay sometimes, but it's not consistent—I've had moments where it missed a person walking by or sent an alert for nothing. The night vision is a big letdown; things get grainy beyond a short distance, which defeats the purpose. On the plus side, I can access the feed from my phone when it decides to connect, but the app feels clunky and slow. For the price, I expected better reliability. Most likely, you'd be better off spending a bit more on something else that actually works as advertised. 😕
