I bought this safe a couple of months back, mostly to keep our important papers and some jewelry safe from the kids and any potential mishaps. As a deal hunter, I thought it was a good find, but honestly, it's been a mixed bag. On the plus side, it's built like a tank, and I feel confident that it'd stand up to a break-in attempt. The fireproof and waterproof bag is a lifesaver—I've tucked away old photos and birth certificates in there, and it gives me a bit of relief knowing they're protected. The alarm feature is top-notch when it works, but it's triggered by mistakes a few times, which scared the daylights out of me and the little ones! 😅 Inside, the light is handy, but the shelf doesn't hold much, and with multiple kids, we've got a lot to stash, so it's already feeling crowded. Anchoring it down was straightforward with the screws provided, but moving it into place was a two-person job—definitely not something I'd want to do again. The keypad is responsive, but I've had moments where the battery warning didn't pop up in time, and I had to scramble for the backup keys. Overall, it does the job, but for the price, I expected a bit more finesse. It's functional, but not perfect—most likely, I'd recommend it with reservations if you're on a budget and need basic security.
