As a gift buyer for my wife, who's into meal prepping, I was looking for something to reduce food waste. I had the problem of leftovers going bad quickly, and this seemed like a solid solution. After using it for a couple of weeks, it's been helpful—food stays fresh, and it's easy to operate. Compared to others in the same price range, it's decent but not perfect. My takeaway: it's a good value for the money, but could use some improvements in speed and included accessories. I'd recommend it with a few caveats.
- Pros: This sealer does a great job at removing air from bags, which has kept my food fresh for much longer than usual. It's fairly compact, so it doesn't take up much space on the counter, and I appreciate that it came with some bags to start with. The ability to use it with different power standards is a nice touch for travel.
- Cons: It could be a bit faster at sealing; sometimes it feels like it takes longer than expected. The bags it comes with are a good start, but you'll need to buy more soon, which adds to the cost. I'm not fully convinced it's the most durable option out there—it feels a bit lightweight.
