so i got this for my bearded dragon and i'm a bit of a perfectionist about his habitat you know i want everything just right and this regulator does a good job it holds the temp very consistently which i really appreciate no more worrying about him getting too hot or cold the digital part is helpful cause i can see the numbers and adjust things easily but it took me a while to figure out how to set it up properly i had to mess with the settings a few times and it was kinda annoying at first but once i got it it worked well it's been about a month now and it's holding up fine no issues so far i'd say it's reliable for the price and does what it promises just wish it was a bit more user friendly out of the box overall i'm happy with it and would recommend it to others who need precise temp control for their pets
- Pros: it keeps the temp very steady which is great for my reptiles and the display shows exactly what's happening so no surprises kinda annoying when things aren't clear but this makes it easy to check at a glance and it works with my heat lamp and other gear without any fuss
- Cons: it feels a bit bulky and the setup was confusing at first as it seemed to me i had to read the manual a few times to get it right and the power cord is kinda short which makes placement tricky in my tank setup
