first impression when i unboxed it the lamp looked simple and easy to set up which was perfect for my impulsive buy i hooked it up in my terrarium and it started working right away mimicking natural light cycles really well my lizard seems less stressed and more active like its in a wild habitat the temperature control is spot on preventing any overheating scares and it pairs nicely with other stuff i have for a complete setup though i wish it had a bit more power or sturdiness but for the price its a solid choice that does what it promises without any fuss
- Pros: i liked that it combines two types of light in one bulb which seems essential for my reptile's health making digestion and bone strength better the day and night modes are great for keeping a natural cycle and the thermostat helps avoid overheating saving energy and keeping things stable
- Cons: after some settings it feels a bit basic maybe not as durable as pricier options and the light output could be stronger for larger enclosures from what i feel it might not last too long with heavy use
