First impression: I bought this to make my daily commute less of a drag, and it's an acquired taste—does the job but has some quirks. Delivery was quick, which was a plus. I installed it myself, being a bit of a life-hacker, and it was straightforward enough for a competent user like me. The screen is HD and bright, so no issues seeing it in daylight, and I appreciate the wireless connection for playing music from my phone. Hands-free calling works well, keeping my hands on the wheel SAFE. But the small screen means I have to lean in sometimes to read things, and the radio reception isn't great—gets staticky in areas with weak signals. The backlight is fun, but it's a minor thing. Overall, it's fairly practical for the price, but I wish it had a bigger display and better audio. For my fitness routine, I listen to podcasts on drives, and this handles it okay, but not perfectly. I'd recommend it with reservations—good for basic use, but don't expect top-notch performance.
- Pros: The screen is sharp and easy on the eyes, making maps and menus clear without any squinting. I like that it connects to my phone wirelessly and has options for plugging in other devices, plus the hands-free feature keeps me safe while driving. The colorful lighting adds a nice touch to my car's interior.
- Cons: From what I feel, the screen size is a bit small for my liking, and the sound quality through the radio could be better—it's fairly fuzzy at times. The buttons feel a bit cheap and might not hold up well over time.
