Decision:

when i first got this, i was excited because i wanted a manual way to control my coffee grinding without any electronics. the problem was that it didn't live up to my expectations for ease of use; shaking it vigorously for espresso was a real chore. the solution i found was to stick to coarser grinds for my French press, which works better, but it's not ideal. my takeaway is that while it's fun and has its moments, it could be improved with a sturdier build and less effort required. delivery was quick, which was nice, but overall, i'm a bit disappointed. it's light as a feather, but that doesn't help much when my arms get tired! 😕 i could be wrong, but for the price, i expected more durability and efficiency.

  • Pros: i appreciate how simple it is to adjust the grind for different coffee methods, and the design is very comfortable to hold, making it easy on my hands during use. it's also very portable, so i can take it with me when i travel, which is a big plus for someone like me who values convenience.
  • Cons: the main issue is that it takes quite a bit of effort to shake it enough for a fine grind, which can be tiring over time. it feels a bit flimsy in construction, and i worry it might not hold up well with frequent use. also, it doesn't produce as consistent a grind as i'd like, especially for finer settings.
