Gardtech Gh665214 Greenhouse Heater with Digital Thermostat: Two operating modes for versatile use
Meet the Gardtech Greenhouse Heater—your new best friend for battling the chill, whether it's in your cozy greenhouse or that drafty garage you've been avoiding. Packing a 1500W punch and a digital thermostat, it's like having a personal sun for those frosty mornings. And hey, it's got two modes: one for when you just need a breeze (fan-only) and another for when you're basically a popsicle (heat mode).
Safety? Yeah, it's got that covered too. It'll shut itself off if things get too toasty (over 108°F, to be exact) and is decked out in flame-retardant materials because, well, we'd rather not set the garden on fire. The thermostat isn't just for show—it lets you dial in the perfect temp from a cool 40°F up to a balmy 108°F. Comfort, customized.
Design-wise, it's pretty slick. Sturdy brackets, spins 90° to spread the love (heat, that is), and an IP20 rating means it's not a dust magnet. Plus, it's light enough to move around without throwing your back out—because who needs that?
Whether it's a greenhouse, a grow tent, or just your garage (up to 160 square feet), this heater's got you covered. And because looks matter, pick your poison: Green or Orange. Because why not add a pop of color to your warmth?

I bought this as a gift for my husband, who's into gardening, thinking it would help with his greenhouse projects during our mild winters in Houston. We've had it for a couple of months now, and it's been a mixed bag. On one hand, it does its job in smaller areas—the greenhouse stays warm enough to protect the plants, and I appreciate the safety aspects, like it shutting off automatically if things get too hot. The ability to adjust the temperature is a plus, though I wish it were more reliable; sometimes it feels like it's cycling on and off too much. The fan-only mode is a nice bonus for ventilation. But honestly, for the cost, I expected it to perform better in slightly larger spaces. It's pretty good for what it is, but not amazing. If you have a very small area, it might work well, but for anything bigger, you might need something more powerful. I'm a bit skeptical about its long-term durability, given the materials, but we'll see how it holds up. Overall, it's an okay purchase, but I'm not super thrilled—it gets the job done, but with some drawbacks.
- Pros: It heats up my small greenhouse pretty well, keeping my plants from freezing during those rare cold snaps we get here. I like that it has a setting to just blow air without heat, which is handy for warmer days. The safety feature that turns it off if it gets too hot gives me peace of mind, and it's easy to move around because it's not heavy at all. The color options are a nice touch—I went with green to blend in.
- Cons: It doesn't seem to warm up larger spaces as much as I hoped; my garage still feels chilly even with this running. The temperature control is a bit finicky—sometimes it feels like it's not holding the set temp consistently, and I could be wrong, but it might not be super accurate. It makes a noticeable noise when the fan is on, which can be distracting if I'm working nearby. Also, the build feels a bit plasticky and not as durable as I expected for the price.
