Decision:

as someone who's not too tech-savvy, i was fairly excited to get this watch after doing a lot of research. i've been using it for a couple of months now, and overall, it's been a good companion for my runs and daily stuff. the battery lasts a long time, which is a big plus since i hate charging things all the time. the way it tracks my routes is spot-on, and i never get lost, even in busy areas. but i have to say, i'm a bit disappointed with how it handles the training advice—it often feels off, like it doesn't really get my pace or energy levels. maybe i could be wrong, but it doesn't adapt as smoothly as i expected. for the price, i thought it'd be perfect, but it's just good, not amazing. if you're into diy and repairs like me, you might appreciate the durability, but it's not a must-have. i'd recommend it with some reservations, as it's reliable but has its quirks.

  • Pros: i really like how it keeps going for ages without needing a charge, especially when i'm out and about. the maps are super clear and easy to use, which is great for finding my way around. it feels like having a little coach on my wrist, suggesting workouts and helping me stay on track. the health updates in the morning are handy too, giving me a heads-up on how i'm doing.
  • Cons: it's a bit pricey for what it does, and i found the setup a bit confusing at first—the manuals are decent, but i still had to fiddle with it. sometimes the suggestions don't quite match how i feel, and it could be more accurate. the solar part doesn't always work as well as i hoped, especially on cloudy days.
