before i got this i used a cheaper drone that was shaky and had poor video but this one is a beast in comparison the image is much clearer and the flight time is way longer making it worth the upgrade for my hobby shots around denver vs similar options it seems fairly reliable but not perfect i wish the smart features were more consistent overall it's a solid pick for aerial photography but could use some improvements in stability and connectivity
- Pros: the video quality is sharp and detailed making it great for capturing wide views from above the flight is smooth and stable with a system that keeps it in place even in wind the motors are quiet and powerful which is nice for not disturbing others it comes with extra batteries so i can fly for a long time without stopping and it folds up small fitting easily into the included case for travel
- Cons: the transmission can sometimes cut out when i fly it a bit far which is frustrating for getting steady video the automatic features like following me don't always work perfectly and can be glitchy it feels a bit lightweight and might not handle strong gusts well and while the positioning is good it occasionally drifts a bit in tight spaces
