As an impulsive buyer, I grabbed this kettle thinking it would simplify things, but it's been a mixed bag. The convenience of not having to lift it is solid, and it's decent for my family's needs, but I'm not totally convinced it's worth it. The temperature control isn't as consistent as advertised, and while it looks okay, it's nothing special. For someone on a low income, I might have been better off with something simpler and cheaper. It does the job, but I'm not blown away—just average.
- Pros: The automatic water drainage is a nice touch, making it very easy to pour without lifting the kettle, which is great for my busy mornings with the kids. It holds a lot of water, so I don't have to refill it constantly, and it does keep the water warm for a good while, probably saving some energy.
- Cons: I'm most likely a bit skeptical about how well it maintains the temperature all day—it seems to fluctuate more than I expected. The insulation could be better; it doesn't stay hot as long as I'd hoped, and for the price, I was expecting more reliability. It feels a bit bulky and might not fit well in smaller kitchens.
