As a stay-at-home mom in Dallas I got this to capture better videos of my kids cycling and scooting around I was quite skeptical at first thinking it might be too professional but it has impressed me the image quality is stunning and it performs well in various lighting conditions the courier called ahead for delivery which was nice but setting it up was a bit tricky I compared it to my old camera and the difference is night and day though I wish it was more user-friendly for quick shots overall its a powerful tool but might be more than most families need I most likely recommend it for serious hobbyists
- Pros: I quite love how this camera handles low light situations it makes everything look clear and vibrant even when its almost dark the colors come out so rich and cinematic like a real movie and the stabilization is amazing my handheld shots look smooth as if I used a stabilizer its compact and easy to carry around which is great for chasing after my kids and the built-in fan keeps it from overheating during long recordings
- Cons: I expected more for the price honestly it feels a bit overkill for family videos and the top handle is bulky when not needed the menu system is complex and took me a while to get used to compared to what I used before and it doesnt come with many accessories out of the box which was a letdown
