Before getting this, I used my phone for photos, but it was always a hassle with poor quality in low light. After using this for a couple of weeks, it's an improvement for still shots, but I'm disappointed with how it handles movement in videos. Packaging was intact when it arrived, which was good. For a budget option, it does the job, but I wish it were more reliable for action scenes, especially since I enjoy automotive events and need something that can keep up. Overall, it's okay, but not great.
- Pros: It works out of the box, which was a relief for someone like me who's not into tech stuff. The pictures come out very clear and sharp, making my kid's soccer games look almost professional. I liked that I could use regular batteries and not worry about charging, and the screen is big enough to see what I'm shooting without any trouble.
- Cons: As it seemed to me, the zoom doesn't bring things as close as I hoped, and the video quality isn't the best for capturing fast action. The need for AA batteries means I have to keep spares handy, which is a bit annoying. Also, the design feels a bit cheap and plasticky, not what I expected for the price.
