Before this, I was using an old space heater that barely warmed anything and looked ugly, now with this Duraflame stove, it's like having a real fire without the hassle I remember from my days in the service when we had to chop wood, the flames dance so pretty and I can have them on even in summer for ambiance, my grandkids love it for game nights, it's very easy to move around and set up, just plug it in, but I wish it heated faster and was safer for little hands, overall it's a good buy for the style and warmth it brings.
- Pros: I love how this heater makes my living room feel so cozy without any mess, the flames look very real and I can adjust them to set the mood, it warms up the space nicely without drying out the air, and the remote lets me control everything from my chair which is great for my old bones.
- Cons: From what I feel, it takes a bit to heat up a large room and the glass door can get hot to touch, which worries me with grandkids around, and it uses a lot of electricity so my bill went up a bit.
