as someone who loves trying new things, i bought this on a whim after seeing it online, and overall, it's been a fun addition to our family weekends. we've taken it out to the beach here in san diego, and the kids adore watching it fly around. the image quality is sharp, and i appreciate not having to rely on my phone for the viewfinder. it's sparked an interest in learning more about flying, and i've been reading up on techniques in my spare time. while it has its quirks, it's definitely worth it for the joy it brings. i'd recommend it to friends who are looking for a cool gadget to play with outdoors.
- Pros: i was super impressed with how smoothly this thing flies, it feels really stable and durable, almost like it's part of me. the camera is amazing—it captures everything so clearly and makes me feel like i'm right there in the sky, and i love that i can see what it's seeing in real time on the remote without needing my phone. the battery lasts a good while with the extra one included, so i can enjoy flying for longer without rushing. it's great for taking photos of myself with the auto follow and gesture features, and the guards make me feel safe when my kids want to try it out.
