I bought this PalFish lamp hoping for something smart and convenient, but the reality fell short. I expected it to sense my movements reliably, but it's hit or miss, and that's a big letdown for the price. On the plus side, it does provide good illumination for reading or when my kid is doing homework, and it saves energy, which I appreciate. Overall, it's okay but not great—a 3 out of 5 :)
- Pros: The lamp is extremely bright and fills the room well, making it easy to see everything without shadows. I liked that it turns on with a simple wave, which is handy when my hands are full, and the touch controls are straightforward to use.
- Cons: Most likely, the motion sensor doesn't work as expected; it often misses my waves or turns on unexpectedly, which is frustrating. The light can be too harsh at times, and the height makes it a bit awkward in smaller spaces.
