As a gift for my partner, who's always been cautious about home safety, this seemed like a thoughtful choice. My first impression was positive—it arrived well-packaged and looked sleek. Setting it up was straightforward, though I had to figure out the power connection myself since it wasn't included. I've used it for a couple of weeks now, and it's made our stairs much safer at night, which is a big relief. The automatic sensor works reliably, turning on as soon as I approach, and the adjustable brightness is a nice touch for creating a cozy atmosphere. However, I noticed it gets quite warm after prolonged use, which is a bit concerning, and I wish it came with everything needed out of the box. Overall, it's a functional and stylish addition, but the heat issue holds me back from giving it a full recommendation. :)
