as someone who's worked with machines all my life, i appreciate things that just work, and this lock does a decent job. it's made getting into my home easier, and i feel a bit safer knowing i don't have to carry keys. it's not perfect—i've had a couple of hiccups with the fingerprint part—but overall, it's been a good addition. i'd recommend it to others who want a simpler way to lock up, especially if they're like me and not too into fancy gadgets. it's held up for a few months now, and i'm fairly happy with it.
