As a dad with kids, I was excited to upgrade our home security and make things easier, but this lock has been a letdown. First impression was good—it arrived a day late but fine, and installation was straightforward. However, the fingerprint feature is hit or miss; sometimes it unlocks fast, other times it just doesn't work, forcing me to fumble for keys or codes. The app is okay for checking who came in, but it feels basic and not very intuitive. For the price, I expected better reliability. It's fairly disappointing because I did a lot of research before buying, and now I'm stuck with something that doesn't live up to the hype. Might work for some, but not for a busy family like mine.
- Pros: It was easy to set up and worked out of the box, which was a relief. I liked that I could open it with my fingerprint or a code, and it connects to my phone app for remote access. The auto-lock feature is handy for keeping the house secure without thinking about it.
- Cons: The fingerprint reader is NOT reliable—it often fails to recognize my print, and I've had to use the backup key multiple times. The battery life seems poor, and it gave a low battery warning way too soon. Voice control with my smart home devices is glitchy and doesn't always work, which is frustrating.
