As a deal hunter, I found this bike to be a good value for the money, and I've been using it for a couple of months now. It's perfect for my daily trips around San Antonio, and I love that I can tweak the settings with my phone—makes me feel quite tech-savvy! A tip: always check the tire pressure before heading out to keep the ride comfortable. It handles well in traffic, and the range is impressive; I've gone on long rides without worrying about the battery. Overall, it's a solid choice for anyone looking to make commuting easier and more enjoyable.

• Pros: I quite like how easy it is to get on and off with the step-through frame, and the motor gives a nice boost without much effort, making my rides feel smooth and quick. The battery lasts a long time, so I don't have to charge it often, and it's secure with the key lock. The app is handy for adjusting things on the go, and the tires grip well even in wet conditions, which is great for peace of mind.
• Cons: From what I feel, the suspension could be a bit softer for my older back, as I notice some bumps more than I'd like, and the top speed might be limiting if you're used to faster rides, but it is what it is for city use. After a few weeks of use Ive found this bike to be a solid choice for getting around the city. Its not without flaws like the seat comfort and app usability but overall it does what it promises. The suspension makes bumps less jarring and the tires grip well even when its wet. For someone who values efficiency and has some DIY skills to tweak minor issues it could be a good fit. Just dont expect luxury at this price :)

Decision:

As a healthcare worker in Marseille, I needed a reliable way to get around the city without relying on public transport. The Fafrees bike seemed like a good solution, and for the most part, it is. It's comfortable, efficient, and has enough range to get me through the week. However, the minor issues with speed and the app's usability mean it's not quite the perfect ride I was hoping for. Still, it's a HECK of an improvement over pedaling everywhere, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a decent electric bike, as long as they're not expecting absolute perfection.
