as a chef who enjoys tinkering with cars in my spare time i was excited to try this kit thinking it would be a fun project but overall it left me a bit disappointed the build process wasnt as smooth as id hoped with some components requiring extra effort to align properly and the instructions could have been clearer once i got it running the video streaming worked but the image was grainy and not very sharp which made it less useful for things like avoiding obstacles or just having a good view controlling it from my phone was neat but the connection was unreliable if i wasnt close by and it often lost signal which was frustrating for a device that should be wireless i did appreciate how it helped me learn some basic programming and electronics without needing deep knowledge but the performance didnt live up to my expectations based on the description it seemed like a great stem tool but in practice it felt more like a toy with limitations for someone like me who values precision and reliability this wasnt the best fit id recommend it for beginners but not for serious projects
- Pros: the kit had everything i needed to build a robot car right out of the box which made it incredibly straightforward to get started i liked that it could be controlled from my phone over wifi and the live video feed worked well for seeing what the car was doing the ability to program it in languages i already knew made it feel intuitive and not too technical
