I bought this sensor because my old one was acting up and I needed something affordable. As a deal hunter, I thought this would be a good choice, but after using it for a couple of months, I'm not fully convinced. It does its job of monitoring the engine temperature, and my car hasn't overheated, which is a relief with all the driving I do for the kids and my pets. But I've noticed it doesn't feel as sturdy, and I worry it might fail sooner than expected. Installation was straightforward, even for someone like me who's not very tech-savvy, but I had to double-check everything to make sure it was right. Overall, it's okay, but I might look for something better next time if this one doesn't hold up.
- Pros: It was quite easy to put in, I managed it myself over a weekend without much trouble, and it fits my Mazda just fine, which is helpful since I have multiple cars to keep running for the family.
- Cons: I expected more from it honestly, it doesn't seem to last as long as I hoped, and I could be wrong but it might not be as reliable as the original part, which is a bit disappointing for the price.
