before this, i was using basic floats that were cheap but hard to see, especially in low light. now, with this jinglong21 float, i can keep an eye on my line better, but it's not perfect. in daylight, it's not much better than the old ones, and it feels a bit bulky. for the cost, i expected more, but it's decent for evening fishing. i'd say it's an okay upgrade if you fish a lot in the dark, but not a game-changer. :)
- Pros: the light is fairly bright and helps me see the float even in murky water or at night, which is a big step up from my old plain ones that i could barely spot. it's built tough and has survived a few knocks without issues, and the battery lasts longer than i expected, so i don't have to change it often.
- Cons: it doesn't work as well in very bright daylight, and the top design can get in the way sometimes when i'm casting. it's a bit pricey for what it does, and i've had moments where it didn't feel as responsive as i'd like, making me miss a bite or two.
