as it seemed to me, this OutsideWorld lock is a decent upgrade from the old key-based ones i'm used to. i've been using it for a couple of weeks now, and while it's convenient for keeping things private in my home office, i'm not entirely convinced it's the most durable option out there. compared to other brands i've trid, it does the job but doesn't wow me. i appreciate the ease of use and the security it offers, but i mis the solid feel of a mechanical lock. overall, it's functional and meets my needs for now, but i might look for something more robust in the future if this one doesn't hold up.
- Pros: the installation was quite straightforward, and it fit my file drawer perfectly without any adjustments needed, which was a relief. i liked that i could set my own code and not worry about losing keys anymore, making access simple and secure. the delivery was quick, and the touch keypad responded well to my inputs, feeling respnsive and reliable.
- Cons: at first, i was skeptical about how sturdy it would be, and it seemed a bit flimsy compared to traditional locks i've used before. the keypad can be a bit sensitive, and i had a few instances where it didn't register my taps correctly, which was frustrating. also, the battery lfie isn't as long as i'd hoped, requiring more frequent changes than expected.
