i was fairly excited to get this for my son, thinking it would be a great toy to spark his interest in dinosaurs and get him moving. in reality, it mostly lives up to that—he loves controlling it and has made up all sorts of stories, which is awesome. but i did expect it to be quieter and have a longer range; it's not perfect, but for the price, it's a solid choice. delivery was smooth, the courier called ahead, which was nice. overall, it's a good buy that brings a lot of smiles, even with the minor drawbacks.
- Pros: the way it moves is surprisingly realistic, like something from a nature show, and the remote makes it easy for my kid to control without any hassle. it feels sturdy and has held up well to rough play, which i appreciate. it encourages imaginative games and seems to help with coordination in a fun way.
- Cons: it's a bit loud when it walks, which can be annoying indoors, and the range on the remote isn't as far as i'd hoped, so we have to stay pretty close. the battery life could be better, needing frequent charges if used a lot.
