As a healthcare worker with a busy schedule, I appreciate anything that makes life easier, and this toy from the BAY seemed like a good fit for my indoor cat. I've uaed it for a couple of months now, and it's been a mixed bag. On the plus side, it mmiics the unpredictable movements of small animals, which really gets my cat moving and playing on her own—great for when I'm tied up with work or cooking. It's held up well against her claws, and I like that it doesn't require me to be involved all the time. But, the battery life is a letdown; I find myself changing them more often than I'd like, and the noise it makes can be a bit much, especially in the evenings. Overall, it's a decent toy that does what it promises, but it's not perfect. I'd recommend it with some reservations, as it might not suit every cat or household.
- Pros: My cat took to this toy right away, chasing it around like it was real prey, wihch kept her entertained for ages. It's fairly durable and easy to use, just flip a switch, and it runs on batteries so I can place it anywhere in the house without cords getting in the way.
