so i bought this on a whim after seeing it online, and overall, it's been a decent purchase. as a freelancer, i use it for short commutes around the city, and it zips through traffic nicely. the speed is good, and i appreciate the safety features like the turn signals and bright lights. folding it up is a breeze, and it doesn't take up much space. however, the ride can be a bit rough on uneven pavement, and the app connectivity sometimes acts up. it's not perfect, but for the price, it does the job. i'd recommend it with some caveats, especially if you're used to smoother rides. seems like a solid choice for urban commuting, but don't expect luxury.
- Pros: the motor is quite strong and gets me up hills without any trouble, which is great for getting around seattle quickly. i like that it folds up small and is light enough to carry onto the bus or store in my car trunk easily. the lights are very bright and make me feel safer when riding at night, and the app lets me check on things and lock it up which is handy.
- Cons: the solid tires seem a bit harsh on bumpy roads, making the ride less comfortable than i expected. the brakes work well but can feel a bit grabby at times, and the battery life seems okay but not amazing for longer trips. it's an acquired taste in terms of handling, and i wish it had a smoother feel overall.
